Trisha was born inLong Island, New York. She graduated from Adelphi University and with a Masters Degree in Psychology from Columbia University in New York. She and her husband, Richard (owner of Highlands Office Supply in Sebring) have four children. All the children were adopted from Korea as infants, now ranging in age from 25 to 32. For more than 20 years, she owned and operated a collection agency inNew Jersey. She and Richard moved to Sebring in 1996. They were drawn by the prospect of constant sunshine and a pristine environment and have not been disappointed. Trisha decided to blend her business expertise with her love of real estate to become a Realtor in 2006. She is a million-dollar producer. In February, 2011, she transferred her license to the Greater Ft. Myers area, drawn by the enchanting gulf waters.
She says that she most enjoys helping buyers and sellers reach their American dream, a dream which still exists in Florida. Her advice “don’t listen to the naysayers.” Trisha believes that home and property ownership still comprises the foundation for attaining personal fulfillment – through the establishment of roots, still the basis for happiness and can still provide financial stability, even in these challenging times.
Trisha’s interests include writing and lecturing about adoption and membership in various philanthropic organizations, PETA and Greenpeace. She is a former Board of Education president and still keeps up with local education issues. She is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Highlands and established the Food Bank of Highlands County. Trisha is president of the Celtic American Society of Highlands County. She and her husband are founding members of GIFT, an adoption support organization with members nationwide. She says “now is the perfect time to buy property or to sell.”
